Xtranormal is an online application which turns your imagination to life. Creating animations with Xtranormal is very easy and can be accompolished in four simple steps.

1. Pick your scene (Backgrounds, Music, Actor Skin etc)
2. Type the script (Not the ‘scripts’ in programming terms, here we mean dialogues)
3. Add actions and sounds (Just drag-n-drop)
4. Publish & Share ( In video sharing sites like YouTube or in Xtranormal catalog)

Zorro is a tiny app (less than 100KB) which blacks out the unwanted portion your screen helping you to remove any distractions from your screen. This can be useful while playing online games or watching YouTube videos where you would want to concentrate only on what you are looking at.

Once we start Zorro, we have to re-size the Zorro window so that it overlays the part of the screen which is under interest. This app can be easily activated by pressing an arbitrary hot-key, which we are allowed to choose.

TIP!

To quicly switch between different apps and black out distractions, run multiple Zorro apps and set different hotkeys for each. For example, for youtube set a zorro mask with hot key Win+Y and for a gtalk window set another with hotkey Win+G. So we can easily switch from youtube video to gtalk by pressing Win+Y and Win+G in sequence

Personal Video Database is a powerful utility for managing your favorite movie collections in your PC. Information related to movie is automatically downloaded from sites like IMDB or Yahoo Movies and are stored in the database, so that it can be viewed offline anytime.

Pressing the ‘New Movie Master’ Button from the toolbar (Cntrl+M) will invoke a screen as shown below. Just enter the title and click ‘Ok’ to get all the movie info and the posters automatically added to your database.

Tip: Instead of adding the title and the browsing for the movie file, just browse for the movie file first; the movie title will be added automatically by extracting the name of the file.

The service which provides the movie info can be modified from the preferences.
