Indian Income Tax Phishing Site

Today I received a mail from the sender ‘India Tax Departament’ that I am yet to receive the tax refund amount. Since I received this in my gmail id, the images weren’t displayed by default. The first this I did was to check the sender email id and it was from ‘wnrlky@aol.com‘. I can assume that this id has been long used for phishing attacks (the id resembles ‘winnerlucky’).

Then I enabled the images to check whether he had embedded any government emblems. But to my surprise it was written ‘Australian Government’ :D . May be this was not targeted to Indians first. After understanding that this is a fraud mail, I wanted to read the entire mail and find out the URL under interest.

Create Customized Feeds From Any Site With Dapper

Dapper helps you to extract data from any website and create customized feeds. This is different from a normal feed since it allows you to select the data and also to modify the presentation of data. The dapps created can be used in formats like RSS, XML, Google Gadgets, Facebook application, HTML etc.

Alert For Missing Subject And Attachment in Outlook

Subject line in a mail is a key for identifying and digging the required mails from the mail archives. So we have to be careful not to miss it at any chance but unfortunately we do miss by accident. Another possible mistake we do is to miss the attachments mentioned in the mail.
